Dr. Göknur Arzu Akyüz, Lisans derecesini 1992 yılında ODTÜ Endüstri Mühendisliği’nden almıştır. 12 yıl boyunca farklı sektör ve firmalarda (ASELSAN, TEPE Grup, EMEK Elektrik, Interfarma, MITAŞ) Üretim Planlama ve Kontrol, Kurumsal Kaynak Planlama ve Kalite Yönetimi konularında çeşitli görevlerde bulunmuş ve farklı sistem kurulum projelerinde (Malzeme Yönetim Sistemi, Kalite Yönetim Sistemi ve Kurumsal Kaynak Planlama) aktif rol üstlenmiştir. 2004 yılında Atılım Üniversitesi Endüstri Müh. Bölümü’nde Öğretim Görevlisi olarak çalışmaya başlamış ve bu bölümde 2004-2015 yılları arasında çeşitli dersler (Üretim Planlama, Kalite Yönetimi, Simulasyon, Sistem Tasarımı, Maliyet Analizi gibi) vermiştir. Yüksek Lisans derecesini 2008 yılında Atılım Üniversitesi Bilgisayar Mühendisliği Bölümü, Doktora derecesini 2012 yılında Atılım Üniversitesi MODES (Mühendislik Sistemleri Tasarım ve Modellemesi) Programından almıştır. Güz 2015-2016 döneminde THK Üniversitesi İşletme Fakültesi Lojistik Yönetimi Bölümü’ne Yrd.Doç.Dr. kadrosuyla katılmıştır. Akademik ilgi alanları Üretim Planlama, Tedarik Zinciri Yönetimi, Kalite Yönetimi ve e-işbirliğidir.
Short Biography
Kara Harp Okulunda İktisat lisans (1981), İstanbul Üniversitesi İktisat Fakültesi’nde Uluslararası İlişkiler alanında yüksek lisans (1984), iktisat Ana Bilim dalında ise doktora programını (1987) tamamlamıştır. 1990 yılında ise Kara Harp Akademisini tamamlayarak kurmay subay olmuştur. Akademik yaşama kadar, çeşitli Milli ve NATO kadrolarda lojistik faaliyetlerle ilgili görevlerde bulunmuştur. Dr. Demir, 2014 yılında doçent olmuştur. Çeşitli Üniversitelerde çalıştıktan sonra, 2017-2018 Eğitim döneminde THK Üniversitesi, Lojistik Yönetim Bölümü öğretim üyesi kadrosuna katılmıştır. Uzmanlık alanı ile ilgili yayınlanmış, çok sayıda kitap makale ve bildirileri vardır.
Short Biography
Duygu Aghazadeh is a Ph.D. candidate in Industrial Engineering at TOBB University of Economics and Technology. She has been working as a Research and Teaching assisstant at the same university since 2014. She got her Master’s degree from the Industrial Engineering department of TOBB University in 2016. Her B.Sc. is from Urmia University of Technology, Iran, in the same major. She has been writing a thesis on “Integration of fleet sizing and replenishment planning in supply chains” and investigating different versions of problems. She has three journal papers, two in the field of Industrial Engineering and the other in the field of Computer Engineering. She has presented many papers at national/international conferences. Her fields of interest are logistics, inventory control, integration of logistics and inventory, fleet sizing, computer programming, and machine learning.
Short Biography
After graduating from Kuleli Military High School in 1987, Mechanical Engineering Department of the Turkish Military Academy in 1991, and completing his master's degree in Material Logistics Management (English) at Yeditepe University Social Sciences Institute in 2001, Dr. Kurt completed his doctorate in Gazi University, Institute of Social Sciences, Department of Business Administration in 2010 with his doctoral thesis titled “Kaizen Approach in Cost Improvement and an Application”. Between 2003-2013, he took permanent undergraduate courses in the Department of Industrial and Systems Engineering of KHO, between 2010-2013, master's courses as a guest lecturer in the Department of Materials Supply and Logistics Management of the Institute of Defense Sciences between 2010-2013, and between 2013-2015 at Başkent University Kazan Vocational School. He taught undergraduate courses. In addition to the many certificates and course programs he attended, he contributed as a project member to the "Determination of the Sufficiency of Multiple Undergraduate Programs" project in KHO in 2011. He is also a member of the group called “Euro Special Interest Group on Cutting and Packing (ESICUP)” since 2010. Dr.Kurt, Head of Operations Research Department at KHO Industrial and Systems Engineering Department between 2011-2013, Başkent University. He also served as Deputy Director and Mechatronics Program Responsible at Kazan Vocational School between 2013-2015. Joining the Turkish Aeronautical Association University with an assistant professor staff at the beginning of March 2015, Dr. Kurt's work focuses on logistics planning, operations, project management, and operations research.
